Strong Together Video Competition 2011/12

Call for Submissions
We are calling for 2 minute videos reflecting on the question "What is diversity?"

The CAUS diversity committee wants to feel the pulse of our students' visions of diversity.
We are looking for contemporary reflections on lived experiences and new visions of diversity.
What does it mean to you? What do you observe? What do you imagine?
This contest strives to promote the production of academically and artistically diverse perspectives that reflect the complexity of exploration and knowledge, celebrating philosophical, physical and cultural diversities as a lived reality.

Think, refresh, imagine - and send us your contribution as a video.

Planning Video Contest

Urban Affairs & Planning is sponsoring a contest for the best 2-minute video on “What is Planning?” or “What Planning Means to Me”. This is open to planning and non-planning students alike. The only guidelines are that the videos cannot exceed 2-mintes in length or include copyrighted material without appropriate permissions. The UAP faculty will select first, second, and third place winners to receive $250, $100, and $50 respectively. These videos will be used for UAP social media and marketing materials. You can submit your entry to Tom Sanchez (sanchezt@vt.edu) by emailing a link to your video. The contest deadline is March 21, 2011.
