APA Virginia was pleased to receive the sponsorship of APA’s Transportation Planning Division for the Transportation Planning session track during our Chapter Conference at Wintergreen in July. This was a first-time partnership between the Chapter and an APA Division, and we will seek additional opportunities to engage the APA Divisions in Section events, Chapter conferences, and other Chapter programs in the future.
In turn, APA Virginia will be co-sponsoring, along with the APA National Capital Chapter, the APA Transportation Planning Division’s second annual Business Meeting and Networking Reception during the upcoming Railvolution 2011 Conference in Washington, DC in October. Chapter members, who are planning to attend Railvolution 2011 and all planners in the area, are invited to the meeting and reception to learn more about the Division, discuss future partnership opportunities between the Division and our Chapters that can assist you with your work, and to network with transportation planners from all over the country.
