Fundraising and Administrative Assistant
We're looking for a part time Fundraising and Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic and talented team. Our ideal candidate is a person of any age and background who gets great satisfaction from managing office operations and helping us achieve our fundraising goals. Support of our mission is essential.
This position is 20 hours/week, great for students or those with other obligations, and is not salaried. Please note that while this position offers opportunities for growth and learning, this is a strictly part time position. As a small organization, this position fills a critical need in our office.
Graduate Level Policy Internships
We seek outstanding policy interns to join our team for the 2011 summer and fall semesters. This position is an ideal way to use your talents to make a meaningful, substantial contribution while learning about the nonprofit sector and “real world” smart growth advocacy and implementation.
Our interns will work closely with CSG’s Policy Director and Executive Director to create materials, research and write reports, and provide analysis for critical growth policies in the Washington D.C. region. Specifically, the position will include activities related to one or more of the following topics:
- Affordable housing
- Transportation policy reform, both specific policies and statewide DOT reform
- Aging infrastructure in the D.C. region
- Corridor planning (including housing, transportation, and land use)
- Public land for public good policy analysis – what DC area jurisdictions are doing, how they do it, what can be done
