USIT Program - Summer 2011

UT Austin is seeking undergraduate juniors and seniors planning majors who may have an interest in gaining firsthand experience conducting research on transportation problems through the Undergraduate Summer Internship in Transportation (USIT). This program is offered through the Advanced Institute for Transportation Infrastructure Engineering and Management. The Advanced Institute has been established at The University of Texas at Austin through funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation. Its objectives include enhancing the quality, number, and diversity of professionals entering the Transportation sector.

The USIT program during the past nineteen summers has been very successful, with 155 interns participating from 75 different Universities. They are looking forward to another exciting summer full of opportunities for our interns.

A brochure describing the program can be found here. More information can also be found on the website.
