Enjoy volunteering to mentor children? Want to explore the New River Valley by serving the youth in our community? Check out ADVANCE, an AmeriCorps education program in collaboration with the Center for Student Engagement and Community Partnerships at VT. Mentors will have the opportunity to live out "Ut Prosim" as they complete a total of 300 service hours over the course of the program year (5 hours/week of direct contact with mentoring program). In exchange, ADVANCE mentors will receive an education award of $1175 at the completion of the program in addition to other benefits.
