Virginia Area AICP CM Credit Opportunities

We're glad to share this update on CM credits for APA Virginia members:

"This is for those of you who are AICP members and not currently on the APA Virginia Chapter Certification Maintenance (CM) e-mail update list. Im posting the September/October update because there are numerous CM opportunities available in the next few months. If you would like to be added to the CM update list, please contact me.

This Announcement Contains Information on More than 90 CM Credit Opportunities Between Now and December 31st.
The 2010-11 CM Reporting Period Ends December 31st – Four Months To Go!
Most, but not all AICP members are required to meet their Certification Maintenance Program 32 credit obligation for the reporting period ending December 31, 2011. Once again, there will be an automatic four month grace period ending April 30, 2012. While we are about four months away from that December 31st deadline (or eight months away from April 30, depending if you use the grace period) it’s not too early to plot out your CM credit completion strategy. There are ample opportunities in the next few months not only to get your required 32 credits, but also to bank the additional 16 credits you can then carry over to the next reporting period. Not sure when your reporting period ends? Check your Certification Maintenance log at http://www.planning.org/cm/log/

Friday, October 28, 2011        3:30 to 5:00 p.m.

An application has been submitted for 1.5 AICP Certification Maintenance Program ethics credits. Seating is limited for this free event, and an RSVP is requested.
